Main Themes of ICT2026

Islands constitute an indispensable core spatial carrier for the global cultural and tourism industry. They encompass sovereign island nations such as Malta and Cyprus, numerous small island developing countries across the Pacific and Caribbean, as well as natural island forms including riverine islands, coastal islets and coral atolls. Islands have long maintained profound connections with tourism development.

Boosting island economies through tourism development presents a successful growth pathway. Recently, island tourism has entered a new development era. The conference will discuss such achievement via digitization empowerment and modern governance innovation for island tourism and tourism development in general.

We invite all the contributions from academia and industry practitioners with papers of the 3 major themes:
1) Island tourism and hospitality 2) Digital empowerment and 3) Governance innovation
