Before joining VMware in 2014, Daniel worked with IBM East Africa as a Storage Sales Specialist, developing Storage Brand/Product solutions that address client’s business needs (both industry and business) and delivering on clients’ values while supporting storage and brand-specific business strategies. Daniel maintains strong relationships with executives and influencers in the IT and Line of Business organizations in these accounts. Daniel possesses a thorough understanding of client’s business practices, including their organization, financials, competitiveness in the market, and business issues (among others).
He has also worked with one of the biggest partners in region, Computech Limited, as a senior Pre-sales Engineer where he worked closely with the Sales team and customers to design and deliver comprehensive data center solutions based on HP, EMC, Microsoft and VMware technologies. Daniel was instrumental in starting VMware business practices at Computech Limited enabling many customers to save money on hardware, increase systems availability and reduce storage space requirement.
Daniel consistently engages with multiple VMware regional offices (Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda and Zambia) to develop business and engineering skills to support customers in those countries.
